Island Life

While we still love living here in Puerto Rico, there are definitely things that take some getting used to.  Such as the random power outages.

Yesterday my friend S texted me that their whole subdivision was out...pretty much all day through till this morning.  We live a good 45 mins away, so a random fluke that today around 6 am, our power went out.  It came back and forth throughout the day, but nothing full strength until about 4:30.

We had a fairly low key day.  I suppose we could have done more school than we actually did...but, well, we didn't.  It was crazy quiet in the house w/ no background noise.  Which made me realize how loud my kids really are throughout the day.

Again, I suspect our neighbors hate us!
